about noto

noto was supposed to be a magazine. it still will be — i have the figma files to prove it.

but you know how it is. you have a big idea, and then you have a tuesday, and a tuesday is not the time for a magazine. a tuesday is the time to open a new file, pick a font you like, and build the thing that's been living rent-free in your head for three weeks. so that's what i did.

noto started with three quizzes — What's your Ancient Greek era? (philosopher, soldier, oracle, playwright, hedonist, or politician), Are you the problem? (be honest, just this once), and What type of raver are you? (front row warrior, fit checker, or vibe curator). all i had was figma, claude code, and a dream. somehow noto breathed.
